 Description

MaxScale does not support wild cards in host names. For example, if you have a user account like 'myuser'@'%.mydomain.com', then MaxScale will not be able to use the user account. Instead, errors like this will appear in the error log:

2015-12-30 09:23:32 Error: Failed to obtain address for host %.mydomain.com, Name or service not known
2015-12-30 09:23:32 Warning: Failed to add user myuser@%.mydomain.com for service [RW Split Router]. This user will be unavailable via MaxScale.

MaxScale supports wild card hosts, but only in conjunction with ip-addresses, not domain names.

Changing the issue into an Improvement.
