MaxScale does not support wild cards in host names. For example, if you have a user account like 'myuser'@'%.mydomain.com', then MaxScale will not be able to use the user account. Instead, errors like this will appear in the error log:

MaxScale supports wild card hosts, but only in conjunction with ip-addresses, not domain names. Changing the issue into an Improvement. |
