The fact that readconnroute only does connection level load balancing isn't documented that well in the router's documentation. It should clearly state that it opens a single connection whenever a client session is opened and it uses only this connection for the duration of the whole session. The lack of support for routing hints and the inability to do reconnections should also be stated at the start of the document.
