The xpand monitor performs health-check pings only to the dynamically detected nodes. The status of the bootstrap nodes will be updated from the dynamic nodes.
The address of a dynamic node will always be an IP-address, but the address of a bootstrap node may be a domain name. To be able to correctly map a dynamic node to a bootstrap node, a possible domain name address of the latter must first be converted to an IP-address.
