Currently the monitor function for KafkaCDC are very limited. Progress , status and statistics are missing. |

Current the diagnostic output from kafkacdc only shows whether it is functional or not. Version 22.08 will have the latest GTID position that was successfully processed. As for statistics, we'd need some information on what sort of statistics would be useful to know. |

I'll close this as incomplete since all the relevant information (GTID position) is already visible in the diagnostic output. If there is some statistic that is missing that is relevant, we can reopen this issue. So far I haven't been able to find any meaningful metric that would be of value. |
