.tar.gz package is repeated for each distribution and version, only one tar.gz package is needed per architecture:

Moreover the tar.gz is missing etc folder and/or sample config files.
It does not look like a self contained, portable working version of MaxScale.
It would be good to make it such.

now tarball contains config template: /maxscale-1.4.1-1.centos_7.x86_64/etc/maxscale.cnf.template
