It also fails on Deb Jessie 8, but since LTS ends June 30th 2020, the MaxScale team is not going to release MaxScale 2.5 for Debian Jessie.*

Debian Jessie LTS ends June 30th 2020.

Consequently, we are not going to release MaxScale 2.5 for Debian Jessie.

julien.fritsch Unless there is a good reason for not supporting Sles12 (and I don't think there is) this will be sorted out.

Why? I mean, the 2.5 release is still quite far in the future. This is not exactly the most urgent topic at the moment, especially that experience tells that these kind of issues can always be solved.
