 Description

Hi,

After installing the ubuntu configurator the apt-get update gives a warning (I used configure-maxscale-repo-0.1.2.deb):

W: Failed to fetch http://code.mariadb.com/mariadb-maxscale/1.1/repo/ubuntu/dists/trusty/Release Unable to find expected entry 'main/binary-i386/Packages' in Release file (Wrong sources.list entry or malformed file)

E: Some index files failed to download. They have been ignored, or old ones used instead.

I can install MaxScale though, didn't realize it was a warning in the beginning.

Ubuntu tries finding a list of i386 packages for each configured repository, to support multiarch. We don't provide any i386 packages, but Ubuntu still looks for a list of them. I believe the solution for this is to create an empty Release file for i386.

This is also a problem if you like to clone the repo in your own apt mirror and create the line for i386.

Also deploying with puppet fails (see apt error above) because of the missing i386 package.

i386 is not supported. I will try to create an empty i386 repo to avoid apt complains

I added empty i386 repos. Now rebuild and tests are in progress

empty i386 repos are uploaded to code.mariadb.com. no warning any more
