This pull has already been done on the Otto fork in october : ottok/mariadb-10.0#28
The latest official Debian testing package (10.0.23-1) has this PR incorported as well.

See https://mariadb.atlassian.net/browse/MDEV-573 for more extensive details about the modifications that includes bugfixes (amongst other things : warnings are shown on execution of the old version of mysqlreport on MySQL/MariaDB 5.5 and newer), many useful informations/stats has been added about Aria, TokuDB and XtraDB engine specific stats.
The output should now be easier to read and with some value truncation and alignment issues fixed.
