Hello,
After upgrading from 5.5.38-tokudb-7.1.7-MariaDB-log to 5.5.5-10.0.20-MariaDB-log we are getting the below warnings in the mysql error.log

I want to know if these errors are cosmetic or something i need to address.

It's a known incompatibility between TokuTek's flavor of MySQL/MariaDB and MariaDB, see the discussion here:
https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/tokudb-user/GksdzAV8WZk

I recommend to address the issue by dumping/restoring tables.
