 Description   

I compiled successfully MariaDB 10.1.6 from source

Quiz provider Galera is inside or not ? I found many test but impossible to find : /usr/lib/galera/libgalera_smm.so

(i thought was totally included with MariaDB 10.1)
or maybe i need to compile galera separatly, if yes where get source code ?

Galera library is a different project from Codership.

Hi,
The tar.gz package used to have the galera library included, this was requested and accepted after 5.5.32 (not sure when),
so that 5.5 and 10.0 have it included, but now 10.1 not anymore, is it possible to have it again included?

claudio.nanni I'd assume you request is not specifically related to this MDEV.

dbart As Claudio requested, can we have galera & garbd bundled in 10.1 bintar
(as we currently do it for 5.5/10.0 galera versions) ?

Correct sorry, not specific to this MDEV, still a valid request imho, is a new MDEV needed?

claudio.nanni, nirbhay_c: I've made the appropriate changes to the script I use to create releases, so the files will be bundled into the bintars with the next 10.1 release.

Compliation awas made successfully on 10.1.8 on ARM v71 (only tested on one node for the moment), cluster start with one node
