 Description

When comparing MariaDB internal documentation at https://mariadb.com/kb/en/mariadb/mariadb-internals-documentation/ vs MySQL internal documentation https://dev.mysql.com/doc/internals/en/index.html, MariaDB internal documentation lacks the level of details that Mysql provides.

For example I wanted to find out Binlog Event structure - as to content of each event type and the format of header and data section - I was not able to find this information about MariaDB binary log - where as MySQL documents it very clearly at https://dev.mysql.com/doc/internals/en/binary-log.html and https://dev.mysql.com/doc/internals/en/event-structure.html

Ideally I would like to understand the detailed binary log event structure and any differences between MySQL and MariaDB binary log events documented.

If you further see the MySQL internal manual also explains internal of optimizer and query processing - this information is not easily available from MariaDB.
