 Description   

A follow-up for MDEV-6253. Same setup. SHOW GRANTS doesn't show the password for users that have the password field set, auth_string field empty, plugin=mysql_native_password.

Please give high priority to fix this problem. Nearly 8900+ domains from my 6 servers are now affected because of MySQL to MariaDB upgrade.

bdraco, yes. The bug is supposed to be fixed in 10.0 (see above). The release schedule is at mariadb.org/jira — it shows the estimate for the next 10.0 release.
