This is a known bug and maybe it is even fixed in the 10.x versions of MariaDB. The corresponding MySQL bugs are: http://bugs.mysql.com/bug.php?id=55556 The bug was fixed in MySQL 5.6.9 and 5.7.0. Would it be possible to backport the bugfix to the 5.5.x branch of the MariaDB? Thank you. |

Yes, it's been fixed in 10.0. Assigning to sanja (the query cache expert) to decide whether the fix is worth/safe to backport to 5.5. |

Fixed in 10.0, 5.5 is EOL so won't be backported. |
