Now as we build opensuse packages, we can as well provide a repository with them. Users are asking for them. |

repositories have been created, but there are currently issues with them. (see https://lists.launchpad.net/maria-discuss/msg02171.html for a description) |

FWIW I tried the sles12 ppc64le packages. Adding a repo (for repository tool install), seem to address as zypper is the cli equivalent of YaST in SUSE. The conflict with the system "mariadb" (10.0) package needs to be listed. Packages seem to be signed to a different key than the repo data. After removing the SUSE mariadb package, installing 10.2 worked well and started and installed a mariadb service. |

SLES repositories have been added to the MariaDB repository configuration tool: https://downloads.mariadb.org/mariadb/repositories/ My install tests on SLES 12 & 15 x86_64 VMs have been successful with the instructions displayed. I think we're good to close this issue. If there are still unresolved issues, please re-open with details of what still needs to be done. Thanks. |
