There is:
"SHOW GLOBAL VARIABLES like 'audit_server%';

Must be:
"SHOW GLOBAL VARIABLES like 'server_audit%';

This is not a Knowledgebase documentation issue, as the only place I could find the text is on an old SkySQL pdf: https://mariadb.com/sites/default/files/Mariadb-audit-plugin-v3.pdf

I don't know how the pdf was ever used/distributed, but I can't see that this pdf is linked to from anywhere except an old blog post and this bug report. Unassigning for now, it can be closed if this pdf is no longer being distributed.
