 Description

Galera wsrep provider packages are available on launchpad:
https://launchpad.net/galera/+download

because our mariadb-galera packages depend on galera wsrep provider, the package manager should be able to install it automatically.

Thus, galera packages must be available from our yum and apt repositories.

Detail: is galera.rpm signed? does it have to be? will users have to install a separate codership signing keys?

The mkrepo-yum.sh script handles signing of our packages and it signs the galera rpms with our key, I'll need to check and see if the Galera rpms are also signed with a Codership key.

performed a test install on a test VM, the galera package installs fine with just our GPG key

Tested the YUM repository. The galera package was able to be installed just fine.

Closing issue since work is complete. Re-open if there are issues.

as far as I can see apt repositories weren't updated to contain galera.deb
