This would be particularly interesting to revisit, now that there is a
framework for parallel replication in 10.0.

There is a framework for queueing up events for worker threads to
apply in parallel, and for specifying that certain transactions need
to wait for certain other transactions before starting or committing.
It would be nice to see if the taobao patches can be easily
fitted into this framework.

given the parallel replication implementation in 10.0 can this bug be closed now?
