 Description   

We have many MariaDB 10.5.x Galera clusters on production, up to +10TB dataset sizes.
10.5 reaches EOL 24 Jun 2025 which is not that far away (1.5y ahead atm)

What is needed:

  • Upgrade path from 10.5 to 10.11
  • Studying what is needed to be able to successfully upgrade live prod system
  • Manuals including cases for standalone, master-replica and Galera cluster setups

It is also important to reduce outage-window(s) to as short as possible.
