ST_WITHIN( POLYGONFROMTEXT(' POLYGON( (0 5, 3 5, 3 4, 2 0 , 1 0, 2 4 , 0 4, 0 5) ) ') , POLYGONFROMTEXT(' POLYGON( (0 5, 3 5, 3 4, 1 4 , 1 3 , 3 3 , 3 0 , 0 0 , 0 5), ( 1 1 , 2 1 , 2 2 , 1 2 , 1 1 ) ) ') ) returns TRUE in mysql, even though an examination with a GUI graphing tools shows that the polygons are not within each other. |
