| Description |

As Debian Sid and up-coming Debian 12 has MariaDB 10.11 it has to conflict correctly with packages. |

As there is no intention to allow lower than 10.10 installation in Debian 12 this is not needed. |

Can you share a link to a CI that is failing or otherwise more information about this? To my knowledge there is nothing broken. MariaDB 10.11 in Sid is well polished and CI proves it: https://salsa.debian.org/mariadb-team/mariadb-server/-/pipelines/510638 Next steps would be to further simplify/streamline the Salsa-CI (e.g. https://salsa.debian.org/mariadb-team/mariadb-server/-/merge_requests/41) and extend the coverage of all install/upgrade scenarios, fix anything CI finds, and then push back upstream all packaging improvements in 10.11 for upstream 10.11 or 11.0. |
