The diversion from MySQL has happened in baby steps over quite a few releases. There are numerous places where mysql still exists and has remained to exist for many years.
As we continue to diverse our user community needs to be aware they are using MariaDB, otherwise they:
- start looking for outdates/incorrect solutions to the problems they encounter.
- get mysql advice when asking about MySQL, when they use MariaDB
- not get good MariaDB advise
So creating this as an epic of the number of existing and not yet existing tasks to change the naming.
