Galera has few different online schema upgrade methods (wsrep_osu_method). In this task all of the should be tested with ALTER ONLINE TABLE i.e. TOI, RSU and NBO. Furthermore, Galera can replicate ALTER to MyISAM and Aria tables using TOI.
Test topologies:
- master <--> slave galera cluster
- mariadb master ----> galera cluster as slave
- galera cluster as master -----> mariadb slave
- multimaster galera cluster
Tests should contain both
- non-conflicting ALTERs (i.e. to different tables from multiple-threads/nodes)
- conflicting ALTERs (i.e. to same table but different ALTER from multiple-threads/nodes)
- ALTERs to tables that have parent i.e. foreign key references
- Master(s) should have also other simple load
