 Description

The slave server in our environment slowly starts increasing the memory.
According to MySQLTuner the sql server should consume max 5.8GB Memory of 8 GB total.
As you can see in the attached pictures it seems to be a memory leak.
Other slave servers with the same configuration only consumes nearly 1 GB of 8GB total.
Engine is MyISAM.
OS is Ubuntu 20.04.
Looking forward to your help.

Kind regards

Hi ITENOS-Kai, thank you for your report. I have two questions:
1.

The slave server in our environment slowly starts increasing the memory.
...
Other slave servers with the same configuration only consumes nearly 1 GB of 8GB total.

Could you please elaborate on the replication setup? Are there multiple slave servers? How is the slave server with increasing memory placed in relation to the master(s) and other slave(s)? This is what I have in mind: https://mariadb.com/kb/en/replication-overview/#common-replication-setups

2. Can you please say which monitoring tool you used to create Memoryleak.JPG? I would like to be able to use it myself.

Thank you.
