This was fixed in libmarias3 by the commit https://github.com/mariadb-corporation/libmarias3/commit/c71898f82598

This issue can be closed when 10.5 is updated to use the above commit

Yes I forgot about that commit. I guess it was too recent to make it into 10.5.11, but hopefully it will get into 10.5.12 and this will be resolved.
