 Description   

An attempt to use Connect Engine in combination with MySQL ODBC
driver makes server crash.

The problem most likely happens because dynamic linker
does gets confused about 2 copies of the functions from /mysys.
One copy comes from mysqld, and another copy comes from the ODBC driver.
