The template parameter constant mtr_t::OPT refers to ‘optional’, not ‘optimized’. Also the default template parameter mtr_t::NORMAL refers to optimized writes. The name MAYBE_NOP would be more descriptive, conveying the idea that a write to a durable page might not actually have any effect. |
