This is not a bug, please use Zulip or mailing lists for that, see https://mariadb.org/contribute/ Anyway, the answer is no, MariaDB does not depend on MySQL development team. Most of the features are developed and most of the bugs are fixed internally. We might port a feature from MySQL when our users request it for compatibility reasons, but it does not happen often. |
