Apache arrow is becoming a standard to share columns data with bigdata applications, could be nice support it with mariadb/mysql with a federated engine There's a postgresql benchmark with apache arrow being used, http://kaigai.hatenablog.com/entry/2019/11/01/170159 It's not a must have feature but a interesting to have more "data input formats" in mariadb |
