 Description   

A bug fix from MySQL 5.6.45 that was supposed to be included in MariaDB was inadvertently lost in a bad merge from 5.5 to 10.1 that discarded all changes to ha_innodb.cc in both InnoDB and XtraDB.

Quoting MDEV-20127:

Revert a problematic auto_increment_increment ‘fix’ from 2014. This involves replacing the MDEV-8827 fix (1, 2) and in 10.1, removing some WSREP instrumentation.

Due to the incorrect conflict resolution in the merge, none of this was applied to MariaDB Server 10.1 or later. The fix was only shipped for MariaDB Server 5.5.65.
