Installing MariaDB 10.4.5 on Ubuntu Xenial with:
results in a working install that is missing both /usr/lib/mysql/plugin/ha_spider.so and /usr/share/mysql/install_spider.sql Using the files from RHEL 7.6 seems to work. |

On deb-based systems, Spider comes in a separate package: mariadb-plugin-spider_10.4.5+maria~disco_amd64.deb |
