sujatha.sivakumar A suspicion was that this bug duplicates MDEV-14203.

Yet it just have failed, to paste from Alice's links - 

rpl.rpl_extra_col_master_innodb 'innodb,row' w1 [ fail ]  Found warnings/errors in server log file!

Hello Elkin

As part of MDEV-14203 fix ER_NET_ERROR_ON_WRITE error is handled. I looked into the recent failure link provided by Alice from error log
I found the following lines.

In the above scenario failure happened during network read. Looks like this case also needs to be handled. Will try to simulate the error and verify.
