Sadly, MariaDB isn't packaged by default for suse 15, the latest version of suse. For OpenStack-Ansible, we rely on MariaDB 10.1, and we'd love to have a package for opensuse 15 until we can migrate to 10.2. Best regards, |

We're in the process of setting up SLES 15 and openSUSE 15 builders. Packaging 10.1 for SLES/openSUSE 15 would be tricky because they include 10.2 in the main repositories. |

This should have been closed a while ago. Leaving the resolution as "fixed" because we have openSUSE 15 and SUSE 15 builders and create packages for MariaDB 10.2+. Part of the resolution is also "Won't Fix" because our policy is to not build packages of lower version than what the Distribution itself includes. In the case of Suse/openSUSE 15 we won't build MariaDB 10.1 packages because 10.2 is included in distribution repositories. |
