The debian/control file in the 10.1 branch contains a hard dependency on iproute for the mariadb-server-10.1 package. The iproute package doesn't exist in the Ubuntu 18.04 bionic repositories, instead it only has iproute2. The dependency has been updated to iproute2 for the equivalent packages in 10.2 and 10.3, but 10.1 still has the iproute dependency which causes installation failures. |
