jplindst, some innodb_gis tests were imported incorrectly in the commit that was mentioned in MDEV-13626. I intend to close Pull Request #477 with a different fix, and I will try to see if innodb_gis.rtree_purge can be scaled down. Currently, that test does not seem to be using wait_all_purged.inc correctly; the following was forgotten:

SET @saved_frequency= @@GLOBAL.innodb_purge_rseg_truncate_frequency;
 
SET GLOBAL innodb_purge_rseg_truncate_frequency=1;
 
…
 
SET GLOBAL innodb_purge_rseg_truncate_frequency= @saved_frequency;

Similarly, innodb_gis.rtree_compress and innodb_gis.rtree_compress2 are insanely big tests.
All 3 tests should really monitor the spatial index size, similar to how innodb.instant_alter in 10.3 does it for the clustered index. Maybe all these 3 tests should be combined?
