 Description   

The systemd script for multiple server instances does not create the socket dir. Somewhere in the script it should be added:
ExecStartPre=/usr/bin/install -m 755 -o mysql -g root -d /var/run/mysqld

or MDEV-15655 - abstract sockets - ok probably too soon to consider for wide use without multiple bind addresses (like MDEV-6536)
