This is for a tarball download? The download page does clearly say So why are you using the tarball over the Debian repository which has no issues like the one reported here? |

I understand your point, but can you install several versions of Mariadb servers on same machine with deb or RPM packages on the location you choose yourselves? We want to keep old versions right at hand if the new ones dont seem to work or sometimes we have 2 separate versions running same time at same server. Thats why. I did not know that is so weired sitatuation for you. |

I don't know what we can do here without increasing the number of tarballs. And it's confusing enough to have three of them. Two out these three aren't linked with libsystemd, you can use them, perhaps? |
