Could you attach the output of:

apt-cache policy libmysqlclient-dev

and

apt-cache policy libmysqlclient18

please?

Is this still bug as 10.1 is not supported anymore and Debian 9 is getting out of Maintenace.

illuusio Can you test and if it's not reproducible close the task?

Comment by Tuukka Pasanen [ 2022-04-05 ]

Can't reproduce in Debian 9 as Jessie is EOL. I used MySQL community server and upgraded to Official 10.1. Only problem I noticed that it should be using 10.2 as 10.1 is too old for MySQL Community server 5.7.

illuusio just FYI, Debian9 is not EOL so far and will be on the 30th of June this year.

Yes I know but bug is against Debian 8 (Jessie) which is EOL 30th June 2020.

Sorry, I did not read your comment correctly. Yes, Jessie is EOL.
