cluster_test_2_nodes1-bin.000004

mysqlbinlog --base64-output=decode-rows -vv cluster_test_2_nodes1-bin.000004| more
ERROR: Error in Log_event::read_log_event(): 'Found invalid event in binary log', data_len: 89, event_type: 166

Is there any specific flag to mysqlbinlog to decode binlog when using
log_bin_compress=1

I'm not getting any errors while reading your binlog. No special flags are needed.
Please check whether you are using mysqlbinlog from 10.2 (naturally, previous versions won't be able to read the compressed log).
