As discussed with the InnoDB team, InnoDB: Warning: Writer thread is waiting this semaphore: should be added to global suppressions. InnoDB: Warning: a long semaphore wait is already there anyway, and if we get a real "long semaphore wait" problem and not just slowness, it will show up in further errors an assertion failure.
