Fixed the issue with the Galera Yakkety packages not being found. Running tests to confirm (and see what other issues there are).

The upgrade test is still failing.

The upgrade VM is running MySQL 5.7.15 to start. Before the upgrade there is a password set on the root user. After upgrading to MariaDB the password no longer works.

elenst: Do you know if this is expected behavior? My guess is no, based on the upgrade 2 test where the root user password is not changed (i.e. it works before the upgrade, and after):

dbart,

At the moment I do expect a failure, but a different one, same as on Xenial, where packages don't get installed at all over MySQL 5.7.
The failure that you mentioned happened on Otto's tree, I wouldn't worry about it just yet. It appears that he's actively working on fixing upgrade from MySQL 5.7 (at least there are commits like "MDEV-6284: Break/replace MySQL 5.7 packages to allow upgrade"), so I guess it's an intermediate state.

Closing this task as the failure in the description has been fixed. There are other failures, but they likely require different fixes, and we can always re-open this task if needed.
