 Description

GCC version 6 has landed in Debian unstable. MariaDB should be tested to work with GCC 6 and potential issues linked to this issue so we can track the status.

Boost 1.61 has also landed in Debian unstable, it should be tested at the same time.

I don't see us having any Sid builders (http://buildbot.askmonty.org/buildbot/grid?branch=10.2&category=main) so this would be a good time to set up one so that the tests and follow-up tests are done automatically.

otto,
As I already said before, we do have sid builders, they are just marked experimental because that's what they are: http://buildbot.askmonty.org/buildbot/grid?category=experimental&branch=10.2

I suppose images need to be upgraded to pick up GCC 6. Assigning to dbart to do the upgrade.

The sid builders have now been updated with the latest gcc6 and boost 1.61

since GCC 6 is now on the sid builders, AFAIK this issue is completed, so closing
