I'd like to request that we add something about the "MySQL SHA-256 Password Hash" to the "MariaDB versus MySQL - Compatibility" page: https://mariadb.com/kb/en/mariadb/mariadb-vs-mysql-compatibility/ It is a known issue in MariaDB that if one has a MySQL user(s) with a SHA-256 password hash, that user(s) cannot be used in MariaDB after the migration: https://jira.mariadb.org/browse/MDEV-9804 Thank you for your consideration. |
