 Description

https://mariadb.org/download/ has a tick-box for "Display older releases", however it should be clear what the expected lifespan of the the defeault selected release is, and it should be easy to to select the latest long-term-support release.

Good idea. https://mariadb.org/download does default to 10.6, as the latest LTS support release. Additionally it has warnings for all short-term releases. I agree that this is not enough to be able to easily see which one is supported.

andreia.hendea We will need to update the download's back-end to include an EoL date per release series.

At this point in time, there are no warnings for the short-term releases. These are implemented per individual release basis, so for example 10.8.3 has the warning, but not 10.8.4.

This needs to be done per release series (while still allowing individual notes, such as for alpha, RC etc.), to avoid manual oversights.

This also needs to be implemented on both the downloads and repo tabs.

Still not there for repos. The text on "Release Schedule" is going to get overlooked.
