 Description

We have some issues in Europe with osuosl being slow on release days. Our netcologne mirror has offered to serve as an alternate mirror that we can upload directly to. Then other mirrors in EU and surrounding areas could pull directly from it.

dbart I am back and ready to proceed on that.

Those are the options that would work with the new mirror machine:

  • push: upload from the mirror (or other machine) to netcologne;
  • pull (push trigger from netcologne): then I would like to limit rsync to only netcologne.

basic setup is complete and from hz-mirror we can trigger a sync on the netcologne mirror

full automation as part of release prep is in progress

This is now listed as a primary on https://mariadb.com/kb/en/mirror-sites-for-mariadb/#rsync-information
