The SIGKILL failed to kill the process seems to be related to the fix deployed for the SIGPIPE (MDBF-34). The opensuse-42 which seemed to be one of the builders that was affected the most by this problem, has run a series of over 30-40 builds without problems. Until now, on an average of 5-6 builds, there was a SIGKILL problem occurring, so this seems to be solved.
