Currently Columnstore will read the maruadb/mysql password from $HOME/.my.cnf.

Customer requested:

Can the software be upgraded to handle the mylogin.cnf file with encrypted passwords and multiple logins with passwords, specified with --login_path, maintained by the mysql_config_editor

FYI,

Standard MariaDB doesn't even support this right now, and I'm not sure that it ever will. See the following blog from kolbe for an analysis on why mysql_config_editor and .mylogin.cnf doesn't really protect your password:

This requires a change to MariaDB Server - which does not support this feature. Please first submit this request for MDEV
