Currently mariadb columnstore uses /usr/local/mariadb/columnstore as install path - In future we need to use /usr/bin, /usr/lib64, /usr/share |

The reason InfiniDB chose a non-standard installation directory is because, if installed in the standard places, it would conflict with any previously installed mysql installation, and InfiniDB felt it would be best to peacefully co-exist with other mysql installations. This needs to be kept in mind when planning what to do here. If we manage to make columnstore work with the standard MariaDB build, this issue goes away. |

The current thinking is that we focus on removing the need to have a modified maria server so that would implicitly fix this. |
