 Description

Connect engine is not yet GA and so in the default server build it is not included. However it can installed via package management later. There are some compelling file and non maria db data migration use cases that connect could provide for so we should include connect in the columnstore install but not enabled by default.

Correct, it will not be our issue to solve post-convergence

With ColumnStore 1.4 the MariaDB and its plugins comes from the server team, we will not have control over what plugins come with it.
