Description

Tested with MariaDB-columnstore-engine packages on rockylinux 8 and 9.

Installing columnstore from a repo hangs, terminating the installation manually we can see the error:

/bin/columnstore-post-install: line 22: ps: command not found

strings: '/proc//environ': No such file

warning: %post(MariaDB-columnstore-engine-10.11.6_6.4.7-1.el9.x86_64) scriptlet failed, signal 2

The fix is to install procps-ng before hand, but this package is not a required dependency of the columnstore package:

[root@8a9a873bb1f5 /]# dnf repoquery --requires MariaDB-columnstore-engine | grep -i proc
