is duplicated by MCOL-796 Datetime should support 'd-mm-yyyy' Closed

 Description

A customer had date values in the source data in a format other than "yyyy-mm-dd", which is the only supported format for cpimport. We need to add a command line parameter for specifying the date format for date and datetime columns values in the source.

The command line parameter to use will be determined during implementation.

excel and oracle will by default use dd-mon-yy, e.g. 01-Jan-07. Should also make sure we support the varying common country specific variations for the us, uk, and europe in addition which can't easily be auto detected.
